More than one blog post in a day could only mean one of two things. One is if the blogger has something really important, interesting, or a thing that really excites him, or her, and can’t help himself but share to the whole wide world wide web as soon as he can. The other is if he’s got nothing else to do, and boredom is eating you away. The reason for this second post is, well, the second one. I’ve got nothing else to do. Or, rather, I choose not to do anything important. Wasting time is a good phrase to describe this activity.
Anyway, a sister from our community posted in our Yahoo Group the link for this video. This is, well, amusing. And all I can say is: there’s hope. Especially for those who can’t do anything because they’ve been excluded from society because they pose a certain threat to the public, these activities can certainly keep them alive and kicking- literally. Kudos to those who have thought of this idea of prisoners dancing, especially the algorithm march (it sounds so techie). Maybe we can even teach them how to play go instead of checkers (dama in Filipino). Or maybe something greater, like serving the public in whatever means they can. After all, a prison should be a place of rehabilitation, a place where prisoners should be formed and transformed to be integrated back into society, a place of hope, and not just a place to let people despair, fear, rot, and die.
Here are the links to the videos: Thriller and Algorithm March.
I was surfing through digg articles when I hit this page. This is the first time I’ve heard of dependent personality disorder. According to its Wikipedia entry, dependent personality disorder is characterized by a pervasive dependence on other people.
I never thought that clinging so much to a person could be a sign of something clinical.
People break down all the time. We get out of control. We get sick. And with sickness such as this dependent personality disorder, our minds get affected. Our choices get affected. Our actions based on our choices get affected. But before we get sick, in some cases, do we not choose to be sick? Or do we make choices that lead us to be sick? And make sicker decisions and actions?

4 ‘mistahs’ in Senate to form own club
This is so cool! According to this news report[inquirer.net], the four mistahs in the senate, namely senators Panfilo Lacson, Rodolfo Biazon, Gregorio Honasan, and Trillanes, are forming a group. The group will be called Cavaliers Club.
Incidentally, in the NBA, Lebron and his Cavs are going to their first NBA Finals. Spurs will win but I expect the Cavs to put up a fight. What I’m really interested in is how Lebron might turn into a legend. I’m into Hero’s Journey kind of stuff. It’s interesting and inspiring when you see people reach their potential and achieve excellence and greatness in whatever they do. What is even more exciting than the outcome is the journey itself. It’s great to see how people become great. (Journey-Greatness kind of reminds of PPC concept in 7 Habits of Highly Effective People).
Game 1 of the Finals is tomorrow.
Cleveland Cavaliers there and Cavaliers Club here. Cavs are everywhere.
GO CAVS!
